I don’t really agree with the welterweight rankings and would like to understand why Vasili Antokhii is ranked ahead of former dominant champion Joshua Quayhagen.

(A quick note: a fight between the two would be something interesting for the future.)

Vasili Anokhii is 5-0 with 2 of those wins over former #3 ranked Welterweight Kenji Grillon and #8 rank Fernando Moreno Paz. Josh Quayhagen last two fights were losses but it was in a Superfight against Lightweight Champion Luiz Rocha and against th current Welterweight Champion Rafael Aghayev. He hasn’t fought since that loss because of Injury. You are removed from the roster due to inactivity, unless the reason is outside your control such as injury or have not been offered a fight. But inactivity can still hurt your ranking as the division passes you by. This is why the ranking council has chosen to rank Vasili Antokhii as #1 since when he fought #3 Kenji Grillon as the #2 Welterweight that was a #1 Contender Fight.
